I love trying new foods and recipes. And even tough I adore Margherita and Neapolitan pizza or any tomato based pizza I am absolutely in love with this white pizza sauce. The sauce is delicious, it is cheesy, rich and luxurious, I mean how can you go wrong with ingredients like cream cheese, butter, heavy cream, parmesan cheese and garlic powder. It will rival the best Alfredo sauce out there for sure.

Once you try it you might not be able to go back to the red sauce ever again. It pairs wonderful with most of the same toppings like the red sauce. But I particularly like it with chicken and spinach or spinach and artichoke combinations.

The sauce is a culinary masterpiece on its own but it tastes even better when spread over a freshly made pizza dough and topped with melty mozzarella cheese.

The sauce has a slight garlic undertone form the powder, nothing overpowering just enough taste to cut through the richness of the sauce. And it is really is a breeze to make. It comes together under a half an hour with just a handful of basic ingredients. Simply simmer all of the sauce ingredients together for 15-29 minutes, it doesn’t get easier then that.

Spread this amazing white sauce on your homemade or store bought pizza crust top with mozzarella cheese and any other ingredients like chicken, spinach, bacon bits, mushrooms, olives, cooked sausage, broccoli florets, red onions and even seafood like clams or shrimp and bake. Enjoy.
