This lemon pepper salmon is a simple yet delicious recipe using which you can have a healthy and nutritious dinner main course in less than 15 minutes.

If you’re looking for a salmon recipe that uses the minimum seasoning but creates the maximum flavor, your best combo is lemon and pepper. Paired with salmon, they are truly a match made in heaven.

You can either use regular black pepper and sprinkle lemon juice on your salmon or alternatively, you can use lemon pepper for cooking and zest and a few lemon wedges for garnishing only. Truth be told, lemon juice is good for dehydrating pretty much anything, but since salmon is easily made overdry, using lemon juice on it may not always be a good idea, especially if you’re baking it without a cover.

Keep in mind, that readiness temperature for salmon is lower than that for meat and chicken, about 135F. So it will really cook very quickly. When salmon is ready, it becomes light pale pink throughout and flakes a little. Make sure you don’t overcook it, overcooked salmon is very dry and slightly chewy.

Serve this dish with a side of steamed veggies, rice or a tossed green salad. I hope you enjoy this dish!
