Meat on the grill is probably my favorite way of cooking meat. Pork tenderloin and grill is, in my opinion, a match made in heaven.

Pork tenderloin is a cut of meat that doesn’t need long slow cooking to be tender on the inside, so it’s just perfect for grilling. You can cook whole tenderloins and them cut them into smaller medallions.

And, the marinade. This is what makes the pok tender, full of flavor and juice. The marinade is so simple and quick to make, you’ll forget you ever bought ready-made and pre-marinated pork tenderloin off the shelf.

The homemade barbecue sauce is just perfect for grilling. BBQ is something kids love and with pork loin, you don’t have to fuss over with steaks, just cook a few loins and carve them up.

I use grape jelly in the marinate. It can actually be easily substituted with any kind of sweet and sour jelly, but I wouldn’t recommend lemon, as the flavor becomes too distinct.

When you start cooking, don’t throw away your marinade yet, you can bast the pork with it to prevent the outsides from burning. The sugar in the marinate however, will caramelize and create a most delicious crust.
