Sometimes opting for something simple is the best solution. Even if you aren’t a very experience cook, but do love to treat yourself or your loved ones once in a while, you’ll be surprised at how simple and yet delicious this peach cobbler dump cake is.
Without even being afraid to sound repetitious. I have to say this: making this cake is a piece of cake!
I first learned to make it at my grandma’s when I was a child of 8 or 9. Yes, it’s so easy to make that even a kid can handle it – they just might need adult help with the oven, but the prep part – just peachy! The instruction is also very short. You can just tell your kid to dump all the ingredients on top of each other, as the name suggests. You will have fun laughing together and you won’t even lie – it really is as simple as that.
Open up the can, cut up your peaches, if they are canned in halves, pour over the juice. Then open your cake mix bos and generously sprinkle the mix over the peaches, letting the liquid soak it up a little. Cut your butter into cubes, or, if you’re really not feeling like doing too much of prep work – just rub it on a grater over the cake. This all shouldn’t take more than 5-10 minutes and afterwards, you can stuff it in the oven and go back to doing your things for another 45 minutes, till the timer clicks. What you should see after you take the cake out is a lovely golden-brown cake with tenderest bubbly butter crust. Add whipped cream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream, serve with herb tea or coffee, you will simply love this delicious dessert.
