I absolutely love a hearty healthy protein rich salad for lunch and this amazing homemade asian chicken salad is an ultimate representative of one!
Crunchy cabbage, carrots, sprouts, tender chicken (cooked in marinade of teriyaki sauce with orange or lime juice), fresh fragrant herbs and mouthwatering asian inspired dressing. Truly an unbeatable combination of flavors and textures. It is seriously addictive!
The combination of flavors in this gorgeous Asian chicken salad is like a little friendly summer-explosion in your mouth. Phenomenally delicious and so easy and quick to put together.
Just under 15 minutes you can have an appetizing and perfectly beautiful salad on your plate that is also great for your waist line. This simple salad is very healthy, loaded with freshly chopped vegetables such as cabbage, lettuce, carrots and red onions and lean white meat chicken. This is my go-to lunch after a fulfilling gym workout.
This salad also looks so pretty and appetizing on the plate, you just can’t wait to devour it. It is so tempting and fresh. I love the rainbow of colors. And trust me, in the end of all the time spent chopping and slicing those veggies you will be rewarded in the best possible way. A lot of fresh veggies like cabbage and sprouts may seem intimidating and awkward, but when they are chopped and sliced the right way, they become irresistibly delicious. You can also sprinkle this perfect salad with shredded peanut or cashews.
With all the amazing nutrition and filling veggie food powers this salad is a definite health bomb. I also love to include homemade dressings with most of my salads, it just tastes so much fresher and better. There is no added preservatives or tons of sodium as well. I love this peanut dressing, it is little spicy, little sour, little sweet and little salty basically a little bit of everything.
This asian inspired chicken salad doesn’t belong to any particular asian cuisine but is definitely inspired by the flavors of Thai and Vietnamese cuisines. You can use any kind of cooked chicken in this salad, grilled, boiled, poached or even rotisserie.
With the minimal chopping skills you can put this salad together just under 10 minutes and enjoy every bite of it absolutely guilt free!
