Everything’s better with chocolate fudge, everyone knows that. In fact, I think I’m one of those people who can eat almost anything if it’s covered with fudge. Kidding, but there’s a grain of truth in it most certainly.
This chocolate fudge cakes is a thing of beauty. Simple, quick, luxurious, draining in chocolate flavor, melt in your mouth dessert. I could hardly wish for anything more in a cake.
Many people can confuse this cake with a mud cake, but it’s not really that, because mud cake is much denser texture wise and much more moist as well. If you’re not a fan of mud cakes, but would like to have something moist, chocolatey and fudgey enough for dessert, this is a great option for you.
Making this cake is very easy as well. You basically combine all the ingredients for cake and bake it, then combine the ingredients for the fudge and slather it all over the cake. That’s about it.
Do not worry if your cake cracks when it bakes, that’s perfectly okay. When you put the fudge over, it will ‘heal’ the crack and you won’t even notice it’s there when you cut it up.
