Corn on the cob is a simple and beautiful side dish to serve for a variety of occasions. I can’t really imagine a holiday season festive meal or even a weekend dinner table without corn on the cob, to say nothing about grill parties and other get togethers.

But to be honest, when you have a lot on your hand, even the simple extra dish like corn on the cob can be a chore. This is when Instant Pot comes into play. It’s become a lifesaver in my kitchen when I need to set something cooking and forget about it till it’s done.

This is very true for this corn on the cob. If you want some for your dinner without any extra effort, this recipe is just right. All you have to do is prep the corn. Get rid of all the silks and clean a few ears and that’s pretty much it.

Depending on the size of your instant pot, you can cook about 4 whole corn years, which, split in halves, will make 8 servings and they will be ready in under half an hour. That’s not too bad at all, as far as I’m concerned.

This corn on the cob is best served with melted butter and salt or, if you want to add a bit more spice and flavor, throw in some chopped cilantro or parsley or maybe a dash of smoked paprika or cayenne pepper into the melted butter.

You can also use milk instead of water for cooking, this will give the corn a bit of tender creamy taste. The quick steps are below, and I hope you enjoy this recipe!
